25 Years of Fine Italian Ice Cream
La Veneziana Ice Cream have been in the business of making top quality Italian ice cream, sorbet, frozen yogurt and desserts for 25 years in South Africa. Owner Miguel Belfi's family have been making ice cream for over 137 years. He and his wife Constance brought their secret family recipes over to South Africa from the Netherlands in 1994. They set up shop in the
tranquil Magaliesburg, and have since become one of the country's biggest private owned ice cream suppliers to the hospitality industry. Luckily for us regular old ice cream lovers, they supply the public too. Visit their factory store to sample some of the best Italian ice cream in the province, or

Ice Cream
La Veneziana don't believe in having just one scoop of ice cream. You can order
2l or 5l tubs of their specialty gelato ice cream, which come in a range of delicious flavours including
blueberry cheesecake, milktart, turkish delight and liquorice. If that isn't indulgent enough for you, check out their special range gelato. Gourmet dessert flavours turn this super smooth ice cream into a heaven sent treat. We like the sound of the fudge and flake flavour scooped into a crunchy sugar cone. Yum!
Miguel's great grandfather Bortolo Belfi made only one flavour of ice cream - vanilla. We like Bortolo, know that many of you ice cream adorers are purists at heart - sticking fervently to your
plain, smooth vanilla gelato. In honour of his great grandfather's craftsmanship, Miguel offers customers 2L and 5L tubs of assorted
vanilla gelato ice cream. The gelato vanilla flavour is extra creamy, while the super premium vanilla, flavoured with real vanilla pod packs a sweet punch.
Fruit Sorbet & Frozen Yogurt
Like their ice creams, La Veneziana's real fruit sorbets come in unique and exciting flavours.
Mango and chili, mint and basil, and rooibos and lemon are just a few of the ingenious combinations of fruity flavours on offer. If you are craving something between a sorbet and a gelato, try out their
frozen yogurt. Also available in 2L and 5L tubs, this healthy dessert alternative is available in six fruit flavours and vanilla.

Magalies Rocks the Cradle
The 2019 Magalies Rocks the Cradle Festival takes place from
Friday, 23 August 2019 - Sunday, 25 August 2019. This year La Veneziana will be participating with an
ice cream tasting event at the factory store in Magaliesburg. Come through on Saturday, 24 August 2019 for a 40-minute tasting experience. Sample their best traditional and gourmet gelato and pudding flavours. Afterwards, pick your favourite flavours to take home at super discounted prices!
