Mad Giant
Our favourite brewery in town runs its operations from a massive warehouse situated inside the
1Fox complex. The master brewer,
Eben Uys, is a chemical engineer infatuated with the beer-making process, evident in the suds that come from the Mad Giant tanks. The brewery itself forms part of the Japanese fusion restaurant,
Urbanologi, and the two collaborate on an ongoing basis.

1Fox Market — The Sheds
If you fancy yourself a foodie, then the 1Fox Market — The Sheds is what you need more of in your life. There's something for everyone: gourmet burgers from Cadilac Jack's, Indian food from the Curry King, Afro-fusion from Paper Planes... and that's only scratching the surface. There's also a lekker bookstore, as well as a clothing boutique.

Urbanologi
Head chef Jack Coetzee is somewhat of a mad scientist and an artist rolled into one. It's because of his talent that Japanese fusion has exploded in Johannesburg.
Ubanologi is located inside the Mad Giant Brewery, and works side by side with the brewery team, brainstorming and testing ideas in search of new flavours, ingredients, processes and techniques. If you're in the mood for fine dining without the fuss then Urbanologi is where you want to be.

Good Luck Bar
From dirty rock 'n roll to hustling hip-hop, The
Good Luck Bar is a music venue and craft beer hall that serves up a variety of parties. With no particular allegiance to any one music genre, The Good Luck Bar promotes music in all forms. Don't be surprised to sit down and experience bluegrass followed by kwaito. The beers are cold, the music, loud, and the vibe bigger than John Lennon.

Assemblage
The brainchild of famed artist and photographer, Anthea Pokroy, Assemblage acts as a base of operation for a handful of local artists. This mission of this space is to be the central hub (through sharing, connecting, participating) for the Johannesburg visual arts community, in promoting professionalism, excellence and innovation.
