Privately tailored events can be hosted for up to 45 guests when utilising The Northcliff villa as a whole, and the kitchen can create specific menus for their guests.
Kranz Restaurant
Kranz Restaurant is the crown of on top of Northcliff Hill. Staying true to the location, decor and design of The Northcliff, the restaurant sings a song of inventive dining. Every effort has been put not only into the flavour but the composition of each dish. In the age of Instagram, plating has become an important aspect of food, something that comes naturally to Calvin Venter, one of the youngest executive chefs in South Africa. Don't let his age fool you. Dishes such as the salmon bedded on a heap of risotto and garnished with corn puree and whisky onions is proof that Calvin is made for this. Other star dishes include the braised pork belly with celery and litchi fricassee, asparagus and cauliflower arancini, and the oxtail tortellini with shallots and beef consommé. Desserts include chocolate mousse cake, malva pudding and other usual suspects such as pana cotta.
