Mac Fresh Farm & Deli in Benoni
Take your pick (excuse the pun) of plucking up a few sweet strawberries or juicy blueberries at Mac Fresh Farm & Deli in Benoni. No entrance fee or booking required. Just show up and pick!
The farm is both family and pet-friendly, and offers a lovely destination to enjoy some berry picking between Wednesday to Sunday. You’ll pay for what you pick during your visit. Their weigh-and-pay station can be found inside the Deli, so you can harvest as much as you like. Costs are R150 per kilogram of strawberries and R200 per kilogram for blueberries.
The Cradle Berry Farm in Muldersdrift
Strawberry picking season has started at the Cradle Berry Farm in Muldersdrift! Here, you and your loved ones can spend an afternoon picking your very own fresh, sweet, and delightful strawberries.
Entrance fees are R80 per adult and R50 per child under the age of 12. You may eat and enjoy as many strawberries as you’d like while on farm, and pay R100 per kilogram of strawberries for what you leave the farm with. There’s also a variety of delicious foods to tuck into on the property, ranging from tacos and wraps to kebabs, chicken tikkas and fresh naans.
The Strawberry Farm in Harties

The Strawberry Farm only grows organic strawberries, with no pesticides or herbicides. Ripe for the picking from around mid-September, these fields burst sweet strawberries for roughly 12 weeks. The entrance fee of R120* per person covers use of their facilities, the picnic area, and to spend the day picking and eating strawberries in the field. Walking toddlers under 10 years of age may enter the farm at R100* per child.

Are you a lover of raspberries? Then visit The Field Berry Farm in Walkerville for some fun in the sun and raspberry picking during Summer! This farm is just the destination if you’re looking for a lovely day out in the countryside.
Their raspberry berry picking season usually starts on January and lasts until April. And during this time, The Field Berry Farm hosts their annual Raspberry Festival, giving visitors and raspberry lovers the opportunity to pick their own raspberries!
