Why go there?
Parys is a small, artsy town that is home to interesting shops and is also close to the Vaal Dam. A major attraction in the area is the suspension bridge, which was built in 1918 to connect the town to Golf Island - so if you're planning on visiting Parys, be sure to add that to your to-do list.

For all animal lovers, the Dell Cheetah Centre is a must-visit. This centre is situated 10km outside of town, and gives you the freedom to interact with fully grown cheetahs. Sounds exciting, right?
