Krispy Kreme Gets Creepy Just In Time For The Addams Family Release

The Addams Family Rebooted

Universal Pictures and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer present an Addams Family adventure for a new generation this October. Rebooting the classic comics by Charles Addams, this 3-D computer animated comedy-horror has audiences all riled up. Featuring all your favourite characters, including Gomez and Morticia Addams (voiced by Oscar Isaac and Charlize Theron, respectively). However, this time the Addams family face even greater obstacles, as they make a big family move to New Jersey. Confronted by the harsh realities of the 21st-Century, the family are pinned up against a greedy, arrogant and sly reality TV host Margaux Needle (voiced by Allison Janney). All the while they must prepare for the arrival of the extended family, including Cousin Itt, Uncle Fester, Grandpa and Grandma Frump and Great Auntie Sloom. In celebration of the new Addams Family flick, Krispy Kreme SA bring you an assortment of tasty, creepy treats to enjoy. Three new character doughnuts, as well as a cooling chiller will be available on the menu as of Friday, 11 October 2019 for a limited time only. So, make sure to head out to your nearest Krispy Kreme to get your grubby hands on their new flavours of Addams! The new flavours are also available at Engen Doughnuts-On-The-Go cabinets from Monday, 28 October 2019.

Wednesday

Brighten up the middle of your week with a Wednesday doughnut! A shell doughnut filled with a decadent hot chocolate Kreme. Piped in vanilla icing and topped with the famous Wednesday stoic grin. She'll be hard to pass by, so don't!

Cousin Itt

Now for something a little hairy! It's Cousin Itt - an Original Glazed Ring, dressed with caramel icing and topped with his classic bowler hat. Filled with a delicious Halloween-inspired pumpkin spice cheesecake filling, Cousin Itt won’t be making his usual appearance through the chimney this time. Lurch

The Addams' loyal butler, Lurch, also gets his own Krispy feature this spooky season. One of the more unique flavours of Addams, the Lurch Doughnut is filled with creme soda Kreme! Topped with ghoulish green icing, red gummy eyes and liquorice hair, this is sure to ring your doorbell.

Death by Chocolate Chiller

Round off your sugar rush with Krispy Kreme's Death by Chocolate Chiller. Your cravings will ‘Rest In Peace’ once you've buried yourself in this delightfully decadent chocolate flavoured chiller. Dusted with Oreo Krumble, topped with whipped cream and finished with a R.I.P finger biscuit, it's simply chilling.
