Garden Day with Just Darling

Enjoy a vibrant and nature-filled day at Just Darling this Garden Day. This is an exciting celebration of all things green and floral. Start your celebrations with a refreshing botanical gin cocktail. Get creative at the ‘Build Your Own Bouquet Bar’ and craft your own rose bouquet. Pop into the pop-up plant shop. There’ll also be fun kiddies activities to keep the little ones busy. Booking is essential!
Celebrate at Marang House
Date: Sunday, 20 October 2024 from 11:00 to 15:00
Celebrate Garden Day with Marang House by creating a magical herb and veggie garden. This new space will provide fresh, healthy food for the children and offer a peaceful place to relax and learn. Join them as they unveil their new garden and offer some fun workshops and activities for the whole family, including flower crown making and delicious treats. Make this Garden Day one to remember by creating a beautiful space that will nurture the health and happiness of the children at Marang House.
Safari Rare & Exotic Plant Fair
Date: Saturday, 19 October 2024 and Sunday, 20 October 2024 from 09:00 to 16:00
Visit the Safari Rare & Exotic Plant Fair for a unique experience! There will be a huge range of rare, unique and unusual plants on offer, ranging from aroids, carnivorous plants, rare and unusual succulents to water plants, next-generation Agapanthus hybrids, bulbs, ferns, terrarium plants and more. There will be a photo booth and a beautiful flower crown where you can take photos to share on social media.
The Johannesburg Garden Club Open Garden
Date: Saturday, 19 October 2024 and Sunday, 20 October 2024 from 10:00 to 16:30
There is nothing more relaxing than visiting an open garden. Don’t miss The Johannesburg Garden Club Open Garden. Spend the day strolling through a fabulous private garden designed by Shirley Louise Wallington and installed by Strylitzia Landscaping. Also, enjoy the champagne and salmon bar, a tea garden, plant sales and a raffle. Proceeds go toward the welfare of children in Johannesburg.
Oxbow Country Estate
Date: Sunday, 20 October 2024 from 12:00 until 16:00.
Join Oxbow Country Estate in Bronkhorstpruit for lunch on Garden Day. It may be a little bit of a drive, but it’ll be so worth it! Immerse yourself in the beauty of their lush garden while indulging in a delicious menu. This is the perfect day out for the whole family, so gather your loved ones for an afternoon filled with fresh flavours and relaxation in a picturesque setting. Bookings are essential. Cost per person is R378 per adult and kids under 12 cost R154 per child.
