Living At The Eye of Africa Golf & Residential Estate
The estate’s vision is to create a vibrant recreational, social and community hub that will become the key destination and gathering space for Eye of Africa’s residential community. At Eye of Africa, the standard of living is only rivaled by the sense of community and facilities available to all residents.
All plans are reviewed by the Eye of Africa Architectural Review Committee to maintain aesthetic standards and ensure harmony of style while encouraging unique design and a sense of individuality. While, of course, each cluster has its own character, the architectural style, generally, is Afropean – a clean, refreshing look that combines contemporary European design with African flair and innovation.
Future Development: The Village Square
Perfectly positioned, The Village Square borders the magical pine forest of the Eye of Africa and will introduce a sense of new urbanism into the golf and residential estate. This new development will house retail stores and commercial office space, making the Eye of Africa a great place to live, work and play. The Village Square at the Eye of Africa will also feature a 400m² clinic and medical suites, adding even more convenience to the estate.
Retail
This mixed-use space will feature hardware and grocery stores as anchor tenants, and also include beauty and wellness and general stores. With master craftsmanship and expert design elements envisaged, there are multiple selections to choose from in their line store configurations. The spacing ranges from 35m² to 600m².
Commercial
The Village Square will also be made up of commercial office space, offering exciting business solutions to the local community.

Greg Norman Championship Golf Course
From the first tee to the eighteenth green, Greg Norman and his expert team have endeavoured to seamlessly integrate the course with its stunning natural surrounds and included extensive bunkering. This par 72 championship course spans over 7200 metres and is the fourteenth golf course designed by the legendary golfer “The Great White Shark”, built in collaboration with the award-winning international developers, Medallist. As is always the case, this Greg Norman-designed golf course, is set up to really challenge every golfer on the course and offer a true championship experience.
With the vast array of setup options, the wide fairways, and the beautiful Bent greens (a unique Greg Norman strain), the course offers a fair test to golfers of all abilities. The course is played as a continuous loop with the halfway house overlooking the beautiful 9th green. Any time you visit Eye of Africa, you’ll see golfers of contrasting ability enjoying the tranquil surrounding of this short game area, some indulging in the professional services of the PGA tutors on the range. The course also features a ProShop, South Africa’s largest golf equipment superstore which supplies a wide range of golf clubs, golf balls, gloves, bags and more.
