Gauteng’s Home of Adventure
The Cycle Lab Bike Park is an outdoor hidden gem in the leafy suburb of Bryanston. Whether you’re looking to pick up a new skill, host a birthday party or do a trail run there is something for everyone. Don't own a bike? No worry. There is an option for hiring a bike and visiting the park for the day. Should you enjoy your experience, you can sign up to be a member of the club.
The Cycle Lab Park comprises of 20 hectares of land with 13kms of trails. The trail boarders the N1 highway and the Main Road. For athletes looking for a safe environment to cycle in for training or social purposes or if you’d like to teach your child how to ride a bicycle in a secure environment be sure to pay them a visit. All fitness levels are welcome from beginners to professionals. You will find a home at the park.
Off The Beaten Path
So, what do the trails look like? Well, there is a Cycle Lab Skills area where athletes can learn how to be more confident on their bike. This area is thus dedicated to basic skills development. There is also a Jump Track, Pump Track and Jungle Book with little technical elements for young riders to build up their confidence on an easy flowing track.
Futhermore, the park also features a Spaghetti Junction, Advanced Skills Section, Magical Forest and a Kiddies Track that is suitable for children between two and six years old. The Fixes Deck
All the activity might leave you parched and hungry. The good news is that you can “refuel” at Fixes Deck, the on-site restaurant at The Cycle Lab. On the menu are items such as pizzas, burgers, salads and sandwiches. Sit under an umbrella, bask underneath the summer Sun and enjoy a stellar view of the park.
Moreover, the park is also a great idea for your next event. Whether it's a children’s party, team building activity or family day out they have you covered. They have tailor made packages for events and offer catering, venue hire, sunscreen and bicycles. As a safety precaution there are medics onsite as a precautionary measure. Entrance Fees
The current prices in November 202 for an adult rider is R80 for all day for access to the park. Children under 15 pay R60 and a night rider pays R50 for the day if there is a special event on.
