Africa Padel
The Sandton based courts opened to the public in September 2022 and currently have six venues in Johannesburg. With 4200 square meters of just padel courts, Africa padel boasts the largest padel venue on the continent! Spectators are welcome and can enjoy a delicious cup of coffee from Naked. Padel Lab
Launched at the end of September, Padel found has also found a home at Ruimsig Country Club. In fact, the Padel Lab is on a mission to grow Padel in Africa as their 4th padel club is recently opened at Elardus Park Tennis! The other two that are currently open are at The Rivonia Recreation Club and Clubview in Centurion. Bookings can be made through the Playtomic app, and they have an onsite pro shop that will assist you with equipment needed for the court! Member or not, you are welcome to hit a ball across the court with friends.

Padel Tennis
Africa’s first ever padel court, welcomed its first players in early 2020 prior to the pandemic. Now that everyone is outdoors and socialising again, head on over to iJump at Clearwater Mall to try your hand at the fast-paced game. You can rent a padel racquet however, padel tennis balls are not for rent. There are balls for sale at the reception. Furthermore, the courts can be booked for corporate events and kids parties.

Club Padel Pirates
Get some friends together and hit a ball or two at one of five state of the art Padel Courts at the Pirates Sports Club in Greenside. Virgin Active Padel Club- Huddle Park
Padel has also made its way to Linksfield more specifically at Huddle Park and Golf and Recreation where patrons can play on courts adjacent to the Fives Football court. Something unique about the venue is that there is an outdoor covered court which you can play at during Joburg’s rainy season. Additionally, if you are the only two playing on the court then you can make use of their singles courts!

The Padel courts at the Killarney Country Club have been operational since September 2022 and boast a world-class environment.
