Mythos

Glenda's

When I think of Winter, I think of hot chocolate, pancakes and pastries. Described as a patisserie, café and restaurant located in the trendy suburb of Hyde Park. For all the sweet tooth's, the Salted Caramel, Pear and Clotted Cream Pancakes are to die for! They also have a dessert fridge showcasing the most delightful mini tarts and cakes. Kota Joe

Not your traditional restaurant experience but it’s definitely something you should experience just once. The fast food restaurant also functions as a roadhouse. Think of it as your ultimate “cheat” day as you munch down the delicious carbs. Their thick milkshakes and their kota’s (a hollowed out quarter loaf with toppings) are a crowd pleaser. Shed and Silo

Looking for a restaurant that's anti-fancy, has awesome décor and cuisine, and offers a lovely spot to meet up with friends? Then be sure to head to Shed and Silo in Benoni! It can be described as a country restaurant. The entrance can be misleading, because the actual restaurant is tucked away. As you drive in you're welcomed by a bunch of Cosmos in front of a glasshouse restaurant. Enjoy a Sunday brunch here at this hidden away bistro. The Big Mouth

The Big Mouth has an extensive menu. But it's their sushi that have the crowds talking. The menu is divided into a grill-section that is cooked in a unique charcoal oven and a sushi section serving gourmet sushi and other dishes made from their specialised marble sushi bar.
