No one does bubble waffles quite as well as Loof Coffee. We raved about their sweet treats before, but now they've taken things to a whole new level. Just a few months after opening their third franchise store, Loof Coffee has welcomed their new sister store to Greenside. Just in time for International Waffle Day, too (that's the 25th of March just in case you weren't aware).
Bubbles and Cream is situated right next door to the popular Loof Coffee shop. Now you can get your coffee fix and hop right next door for a taste of the sweet life. We popped by to sample a few of their tasty treats and see what else Loof Coffee has up their sleeve.
Bubbles and Cream offers a variety of waffle and ice cream pairings. We had a difficult time choosing which to sample; they all sounded absolutely divine. Eventually we settled on a peppermint crisp bubble waffle and vanilla ice cream topped with sticky caramel. Needless to say we left the store brimming from ear to ear with a possible sugar high!
Bubble Magic
If you've never sunk your teeth into a bubble waffle you've been missing out. This quirky food trend is one of Loof Coffee's signature sweet dishes, which is why we imagine they've expanded into a full blown bubble waffle store. Bubbles and Cream has a whimsical atmosphere with its brightly coloured hanging bubbles and high stool seats. You'll be drawn immediately to the ice cream counter that features a yummy range of artisanal flavours. You could opt for a simple scoop of ice cream, but we believe that life's too short not to go all out - especially when it comes to dessert.

No Roof Loof
Bubbles and Cream isn't Loof Coffee's only new venture. They recently opened their open-air courtyard, aptly named the No Roof Loof. We had a quick look at the courtyard during our visit. This tranquil open space seems like the ideal spot for a slow morning coffee or a meet up with friends. Loof Coffee also hosted their first market day in the courtyard on the first Saturday of March. They partnered with The Local Market to bring Greenside residents a fabulous display of craft goods and artisan products. We were sad to miss it and can't wait to visit the next installation.
