A Mythic Ball
Known for its highly curated fantasy events, including the Starfall Ball, A Court of Dreams is stepping into new territory with Gala of the Gods. This event is inspired by Greek and Egyptian mythology, so you'll dress in white, black, and gold. Attendees embody gods, goddesses, mortals, and legends for a shared experience of spectacle.
While the event falls on Valentine’s Day, Gala of the Gods isn't a traditional Valentine’s dinner. Instead, it's an inclusive experience designed for couples, friends, and solo attendees alike.
“This isn’t just about sitting at a table and eating dinner,” says the team behind A Court of Dreams. “We wanted to create something immersive and memorable. A space where guests can play, participate, dress up, and feel part of a larger story.”

The evening includes welcome drinks, a sit-down dinner, and dessert, all designed to fit the theme. There'll also be interactive activities, hoop games, archery, and photo opportunities with props. This is no passive dining experience; the event encourages conversation and engagement throughout the night.

This tiered approach reflects the company’s philosophy of making large-scale, international-style events attainable for a South African audience. “Our goal has always been to make first-world event experiences affordable in South Africa,” the organisers explain. “Fantasy balls and immersive galas shouldn’t feel out of reach.
