The Christmas Village at Emperors Palace
- Date: 22 November 2024 – 31 December 2024 between 15:00 and 22:00 daily.

Stroll through this authentic Christmas wonderland that offers three different areas to explore, namely Snow Town, The Village Square, and the Tunnel of Lights and Winter Wonderland, where guests can enjoy a beautiful light display featuring fairies, elves, gnomes, goblins, and reindeers peeking out from their fantasy forest.
Destination Christmas 2024 At Melrose Arch
- Date: 15 November 2024 to 09 January 2025
Destination Christmas at Melrose Arch is a firm favourite for both young and old. Every year, the precinct puts on a dazzling display of festive Christmas lights, lots of family entertainment that’s sure to thrill, as well as a cheerful market where you can shop for gift ideas before the holiday season rush begins. Joburg Zoo’s Festival Of Lights
- Date: Friday, 01 December 2023 – Sunday, 07 January 2024
Joburg Zoo, The City of Johannesburg and Joburg Theatre proudly present their annual Festival Of Lights. Open from 19:00 to 22:00 from Thursday to Sunday, visitors will get to enjoy the magic and beauty of enchanting, illuminated life-size animal characters that are sure to delight guests of all ages.
The Joburg Zoo Festival of Lights will also offers exciting entertainment, delicious nibbles and craft night market perfect for some festive shopping. Tickets to this stunning event costs R175 per person, R75 per child aged between 3 to 12 years, children under 3 years of age enter for free, and R100 per pensioner. LiggieFees 2024
Dates: Friday, 29 November 2024 – Saturday, 23 December 2024
Support the Jakaranda Children’s Home, a non-profit organisation, as they host their biggest annual fundraising event – LiggieFees. You’ll find these dazzling lights in Pretoria. Visitors will be able to experience a magical display of the most beautiful Christmas lights. Bring some cash along as you can support the various food and market stalls that will be available at the venue. Also, children can look forward to activities in the carnival area. Ticket prices for adults are R50 per person. Kids between 3 and 17 years old pay R30 pay person. Under 3s enter the festival free of charge. Well-behaved dogs on a leash are welcome. Time Square

Visit Time Square Casino in Pretoria for a dazzling Christmas Light Extravaganza! Enjoy the enchanting glow of their light displays as their garden comes alive with thousands of sparkling lights. There will also be food stalls and photo opportunities to explore and experience during the holiday season, under the stars.
Moray Drive
Don’t forget to extend your joyous journey to Moray Drive, Bryanston, where more dazzling Christmas lights await to brighten your holiday spirit! The festive spectacle spans approximately three to four blocks, enchanting the area from Cumberland Avenue to Logan Avenue with the magical glow of Christmas lights.
