When mentioning rooftop venues in Joburg Randlords will always pop up – and for good reason. Situated on De Korte Street in Braamfontein and managed by South Point, Randlords has a rooftop bar and venue on the 22nd floor. The venue can seat 140 people and has secure basement parking for 200 cars. Randlords also offers tasty tapas and a beautiful wine selection.

12 Decades Hotel

Known as Johannesburg's art hotel, the 12 Decades Art Hotel has a handful of venues to choose from. The most popular spot for getting hitched would be the rooftop bar at Main Street Life. The venue can seat 250 people and is the perfect inner city sanctuary to exchange vows and entertain at. Indoor parking is available to all Main Street Life guests.


Somewhere along Kramer Road in Sandton, Levelthree stands out as the go-to rooftop venue in the area. Levelthree can seat up to 300 guests. The upstairs deck wraps around the building and makes for a perfect 360° view of Sandton and the City of Johannesburg. Levelthree also has an accredited list of caterers situated in the northern suburbs.

The Reef Hotel

Around the corner from Marshaltown, The Reef Hotel stands 120 rooms strong and rocks a 360° view of the city from its rooftop. The venue is perfect for that inner-city matrimony that's set to last a lifetime. There is nothing cooler than tying the knot on a rooftop in the city of gold and the Reef Hotel offers exactly that, plus room for up to 120 of your closest friends and family to celebrate with you.
