Above and beyond their signature Ciao Sandwich, this little hidden gem serves fresh bubble waffles made according to a traditional waffle recipe and crammed with extraordinary fillings.

Paul's Homemade Ice Cream, Hyde Park
This one's for the vegans! The son of an engineer and renowned photographer, Paul Ballen has expanded his backyard ice cream empire into a well-rounded business that now specialises in a range of vegan variations of their favourite dairy treat. Flavours include Caralishious Peanut Butter, Caralishious Vanilla Cinnamon and Caralishious Toasted Coconut. These are sugar-free, while other health-conscious options are sweetened with xylitol. They are the first true pop-up ice cream parlour. Spot them in different locations such as Fourways Gardens on Wednesdays. La Cremosa
This spot is bringing Italy closer to you by all means. We think you should try out their artisan Italian gelato because it is mind blowing. La Cremosa even changed our mind about sorbet – we were never fans until we tried their mango and strawberry flavours… let’s just say we’re hooked!
