Get ready to jingle all the way into the holiday season at Fourways Mall. Under new management, the mall continues to undergo a multitude of improvements. The enhanced shopping experience is further complemented by the popular Santa Land Adventure, which returns this holiday season and promises a fun- filled adventure in Johannesburg.

This year, the fun kicks off on Wednesday, 4 December, when the mall will host a one of-a-kind family-friendly experience filled with holiday cheer, unforgettable moments, and interactive attractions for visitors of all ages.

Santa Land Adventure Zones

The Santa Land Adventure, open from 4 to 22 December, will take families on an immersive journey across five distinct festive zones, each with unique activities and everlasting memories waiting to be made.

It all begins in the main centre court. Here, at Mainland, visitors will get to capture the holiday spirit with a family photograph, peek into Santa’s bedroom, and delight in sending postcards to the North Pole. Exclusive Books will bring a book wonderland to life with interactive games and even visits from some favourite characters. Little hands can decorate Krispy Kreme doughnuts before sliding into the courtyard, featuring games, toys, and face painting from Hamleys, Toy Kingdom, and Build-a-Bear in this vibrant space geared for hours of fun.

Zone 2 is the sweetest spot along Santa’s trail. Santa’s Milky Lane will transform into a sweet haven for families to build Rudolph’s magical trail bag and explore the festive maze.

Next, shoppers will get to step into a high-tech, North Pole-inspired digital wonderland at Santa’s Igloo, the newest addition to Santa Land. The Igloo will showcase a fully immersive winter experience that transports one to the North Pole, without the chill!

A firm favourite returns to the adventure where visitors of all ages will be able to bounce their way through Santa’s Ball Playground. This interactive, energy-filled playground will provide hours of bright and boundless fun.

New to Santa Land is The Wishing Wall. Here, families can reflect and share their hopes and dreams for the new year, post them on the Wishing Wall. Plus, visitors can snap a picture to remind them of these special resolutions throughout the new year, creating a special keepsake.

Adding to all of the fun, festive delights will be available from pop-ups including Oh My Cake, Cotton Candy Lane, Milky Lane, Pizza Hut, in a card-only, cashless environment, at the kiosks outside the Mainland Zone. Seattle Coffee Co will host a pop up near the Igloo to satisfy caffeine cravings along the way.

The Santa Land Adventure will run from 4 – 22 December, with trading hours and ticket prices as follows:

4 - 12 December: First slot: 10 am, last slot: 5:30 pm (Santa Land closes at 7 pm). R40 per person.
13 - 22 December: First slot: 10 am, last slot: 6:30 pm (Santa Land closes at 8 pm) Ticket Price: R50 per person.

Note: Santa Land will be closed daily from 2 - 3 pm for deep cleaning.

More Way to Delight in Festive Fun

Fourways Mall’s Santa Land is just the beginning, with even more holiday activities planned for this year to fill the season with joy. From 3 - 24 December, shoppers can capture magical moments with Santa, who will be located in the grotto behind the Mainland Zone. Families will be able to choose from various photographic packages, with custom merchandise also available to help commemorate the holiday. Santa will be taking a milk and cookies break each day from 2 pm to 3 pm.

For those looking for unique gifts and seasonal treats, the Festive Fourways Market will offer unique, artisanal gifts, perfect for bespoke holiday shopping, from 10 – 23 December.

Adding to the holiday ambiance, there will be live musical performances from local artists performing beloved holiday classics and carols throughout the mall. In the spirit of the season, gift wrapping will be available for R10 per gift at the information desk in the main Centre Court, near Toy Kingdom and in front of Sportscene and Truworths, with all proceeds going to the Smile Foundation to support life-changing surgeries for children.

Celebrating the generosity of the season, Fourways Mall also encourages visitors to donate toys to The Angel Network and Safripol, or to support Reach For A Dream at the Disney Chari-tree. These donations will help spread joy to those in need, bringing extra warmth to the holiday season. Donation boxes for this cause will be located on the lower level near Toy Kingdom, outside Checkers Hyper and on the upper level, just above the main centre court.
