There’s also a variety of baked treats – the well-known Marble bread will be on offer alongside other loaves, croissants, muffins and biscuits. They’ve also whipped up a collection of tarts – take your pick from lemon meringue, berry and chocolate – quiches, apple tarte Tatin, and basque cheesecake. Also be sure to try out their signature choux pastry bun, which you won’t find anywhere else, piped with passion fruit or apple crumble. Yum!
The Pantry’s Setting
The Pantry has partnered with GRID and Reddeco to bring the 1 000m² space to life. Natural shades of green cover the walls, a laser cut wooden trellis covers the ceiling, and Wolkberg cement tiles adorn the front of the kitchen. Retro elements of curved lines, rounded edges covered in cork and terrazzo marble counters give the space a mid-Century feel. The space is warm and welcoming, and allows visitors to feel relaxed, modern and wholesome.
The forecourt, traditionally quite dark, had been made lighter with an installation of wood slats and green foliage.
From quick convenience to thoughtful gifts, the Pantry is the new one stop. So, whether you need to grab-and-go that litre of milk because you’ve “just run out”, or you want to curate a dining experience (complete with gifts and wine), The Pantry is just the place for you.
