The Best Lebanese Restaurants In Joburg

Joburg Admin / December 9, 2021

Baalbek

Baalbek in Melville serves traditional Lebanese cuisine and brews their own coffee. Here you can find a variety of flavorsome Lebanese dishes using only the best ingredients. They pride themselves in being the only restaurant that has an original Lebanese Saj oven, which offers a variety Manakish dishes. Their imported hubbly bubblies are also a go to for an all round Lebanese experience. Oh, and they have belly dancers on Saturday evenings!

Yalla

Yalla serves the type of takeaways we'd love to see more of. Their menu's main feature is their laffas (flour wraps with shawarma meat, salad and sauce), and you can also order delicious Mediterranean sides like dolmades, laffa bites, olives and salads. They have two locations - one in Fairland Walk and one in Morning View Center in Morningside and are also on Uber Eats. Instead of a boring old burger and chips, why not get a laffa and salad next time you order in?

Pizza Mezza

Enjoy a unique dining experience at the family owned and managed, Pizza Mezza, at Cramerview Village Centre in Bryanston. Here, you can expect a fusion of authentic Mediterranean and Lebanese cuisine that's sure to leave you coming back for more. Their menu is packed with amazing dishes to choose from, all prepared and delivered with the greatest care and attention to detail. They use only the freshest and finest ingredients in their kitchen at all times.

Liban Café & Restaurant

Liban offers a wide variety of delicious options, includings schwarmas, kebabs, Kastaletta (lamb chops), burgers, seafood, and much more. And if you enjoy a little bit of hooka, they've also got a lovely selection of sheesha flavours for you to try.
