Welcome to St Mary’s School, Waverley, Johannesburg’s oldest school and one of South Africa’s leading educational institutions for girls.

We are an independent Anglican School, catering for girls from Grade 0 to matric. Our pre-primary school, Little Saints, accommodates boys and girls in Grades 000 and 00. Established in 1888, our rich history, strong leadership and Anglican tradition and ethos keep us relevant in the 21^stcentury context. Our pupils are diverse, and we coach them to be well-rounded, confident individuals. Many of our alumni have gone on to excel locally and abroad in the arts and sciences, business, politics, the media and sport.
