The museum contains personal belongings, paintings and photos of this very important figure in South African history.The Mandela House provides a meaningful experience to all visitors. It informs them of Nelson Mandela’s story, both in the context of his home, and in the context of his life as a whole. It documents his struggle during Aparthied, his significance in South Africa and his life in a manner that promotes human rights, democracy, reconciliation, mutual respect and tolerance amongst the peoples of South Africa.
