moyo Magic for Kids
It’s Sunday morning and you’re desperate for coffee. The kids have the TV blaring and scrambling eggs seems like a work-out. Weekends at moyo Zoo Lake were made for you. Enjoy a leisurely meal while the kids have creative, structured fun. Ages 3 to 10 can participate in moyo Magic workshops in arts, crafts, music, dance, and storytelling on weekends and weekday afternoons.
Children’s Workshops at moyo Zoo Lake
moyo has introduced children’s workshops at moyo Zoo Lake, celebrating Africa. These workshops, developed by professional teachers, encourage children to revel in our heritage and are designed in such a way to maximise learning whilst being thoroughly entertaining.
Examples of workshops available are:
– Storytelling and puppet making
– African dance and percussion with Fabulous Frans
– African cuisine with the moyo chefs
– Arts and crafts with the moyo artists
During the programmes, parents are welcome to enjoy the wait, dine at moyo, or leave their children in a safe environment and return on completion of the workshop.
Please note:
– Saturday and Sunday workshops are 1 hour long and cost R45
– No child will be accepted into any workshop without a signed indemnity
– Core ages for workshops are 3 – 10
– A healthy snack is included during all workshops
Using Autumn as inspiration – moyo Magic children’s programmes capture the magic of spontaneous expression. They offer children an African experience with exciting workshops run by specialists who will educate, inform and delight! In each workshop children will create something special to take home.
