Mzansi Theme Park
Previously known as the Happy Island Water World, Mzansi Theme Park in Muldersdrift is just the place to visit this summer. It’s the ideal spot to keep cool, have a blast, and visit the beach without having to leave Gauteng.
There are plenty of rides and slides for visitors to try! Including The Amazon Rain Forest, the Wave Pool, the Typhoon, Rainbow Slides, and many more. Guests can relax in the shaded areas or bring their own gazebos and umbrellas.
Pines Resort
Pines Resort is another unsung venue when it comes to a water-based day out. Featuring numerous slides, swimming pools, jumping castle, playgrounds, braai facilities and shaded picnic spots, the resort has received many positive reviews that make it worth checking out.
Kids can swim, slide and splash to their heart’s content. You can pack your own picnic or buy toasted sandwiches and fries at the shop, plus the facilities are clean and well-maintained. However, you must pre-book at Computicket AND print your tickets to be allowed entry. No tickets are sold at the gate. They open for Spring 2023 on 02 September 2023.


Wild Waters
Yes, Wild Waters is still there – why mess with a good thing? Featuring a variety of attractions including raging rapids, wave pool, super-tube slide, speed slide and the frightening Kamikaze Slide, Wild Waters is a highly effective antidote to “Moooooom, I’m bored!”.
There are also jungle gyms, sandpits, braai areas, volleyball facilities and even a putt-putt course, as well an on-site tuck shop selling drinks and snacks.
Aquadome at Emerald Resort & Casino
This is the place to be when you are looking for an out-of-this-world experience. Both kids and adults will have a ton of fun at the Aquadome. They offer pools to suit everyone, whether you just want to relax or have a splashing good time. The kids will love the water slide and shipwreck, and everyone enjoys drifting along in the lazy river or taking a dip in the warm waters of the indoor, climate-controlled Aquadome.

Grizzlies Water Park
Head to Pretoria this spring and enjoy Grizzlies Water Park’s lovely swimming pools, cool and fun-filled slides, and a relaxing trip down the lazy river. There’s something for all ages to enjoy while keeping cool on those hot summer days.
There is a big kiddies pool with slides for the young ones. And to ensure everyone is fed and watered, there’s also a big Restaurant on the premises for your convenience. Diarise 02 September 2023 as this is when the water park opens for Spring 2023.

Exciting news for summer enthusiasts! Grasslands Driving Range in Benoni is opening a water park! Feel free to leave your picnic baskets at home; external food and drinks are not permitted. However, indulge in a delightful experience by visiting our superb on-site restaurant, offering a variety of delicious meals, refreshing drinks, and snacks. Ensure you don’t miss out on the splash-tastic fun! Please note that the park is suitable for ages up to 16.
