The inaugural Race of Gratitude, held in May 2022, proved to be a great success. Centurion Mall was even recognised for its outstanding digital marketing efforts, winning the silver category for Shopping Centres at the 2022 South African Council of Shopping Centres (SACSC) Footprint Marketing Awards. This year promises to be even bigger and better, offering exciting opportunities for runners and walkers of all levels.

Local businesses and non-profit organizations (NPOs) come together to create a vibrant outdoor atmosphere where participants can mingle with shoppers and tenants.
This year, Skosana Development Running, an NPO dedicated to empowering young athletes, is the chosen beneficiary.

Skosana Development Running is a local NPO with a big mission, to empower young athletes. They achieve this by collaborating with Development Clubs to form the Skosana Development program. This program actively seeks out talented runners at various schools throughout Pretoria. By participating in the Race of Gratitude, you’re not just running for yourself, you’re supporting the future of South African athletics.

The Race of Gratitude offers something for everyone, with route options for all levels: 5km, 10km, and the challenging 21.1km half marathon. The first 100 registrants will receive a goody bag filled with treats from generous Centurion Mall tenants.
