How To Get Your Customers To Leave Google Reviews

Positive online reviews are one of THE most powerful ways of getting customers to use your service. So, how do you get your existing clientele to rate your service on Google? Here are some tactics.

Positive reviews have a HUGE impact on how likely people are to use your service. Here are three ways you can get your happy customers to leave you online reviews.

1. Prompt them with an email or WhatsApp

It's not enough to complete your service or transaction and hope that, by some happy chance, your customer might be inspired enough to write you a Google review. Unless they've had an absolutely extraordinary experience with you, people lead busy lives and giving you a star rating online is probably not on their list of things to do in a day.

That's why it's so important to send them an email, WhatsApp or SMS once you've completed your service or transaction. This could be a simple thank you to them for choosing your business, and a link to your Google Business Profile with a friendly request to give you a rating if they were happy with the end result.

2. Offer an incentive

You should never pay people to give you positive reviews, but you can incentivise them to leave a review with the rating being completely up to them. This could be as simple as offering 5% of their next purchase if they leave you a review or even running a competition where people can win something if they leave you a review in a certain time period.

3. Build your reputation through a reputable site
