Good Food in Thirty Minutes or Less Thanks To UberEATS

Just when you thought Uber couldn't get any cooler they go and develop a new concept. Apart from their ride-sharing workhorse Uber now allows users to order food from their favourite restaurants seamlessly from their smartphones. If Uber can get a ride to you in five minutes or less, what else can they bring you? That was the logic behind UberEATS. UberEATS is an on-demand food delivery app separate from the ride-share application. The developer partners with only the best local restaurants to getting you the food you want on demand. At launch, UberEATS already offers some of the best food Johannesburg has to offer, such as Casalottis, Momo Baohaus, Krunch, Fishmonger and Paul’s Homemade Ice Cream... and our favourites BGR in Rosebank. The UberEATS app can be downloaded on the app store or through the Uber rides app,  and meals can be requested for delivery in Northern Johannesburg from 07:00 to 22:00, seven days a week with a R20 delivery fee - on par with an UberX minimum ride fee. UberEATS offers those living in Jozi an alternative way of getting good food in good time, giving Joburgers great food at the touch of a button with no minimum order size. The application offers you a choice of partnered restaurants within a 3.5 Km range of your location. Uber has estimated a 30 - 40% increase in business for partnering restaurants.
