Glenhaven currently organises and runs six holiday camps a year. There are four junior camps and two teenage camps spread between the April, July and December holidays. The camps are fully supervised by trained and experienced full time staff and volunteers who are passionate about running exceptional holidays for children and youth. Scripture Union works on an average of one leader for every six children. The leaders receive ongoing training and development from Scripture Union to enable them to look after each child on the camp with the highest degree of care and skill.
All effort is made to keep costs to an absolute minimum to encourage as many campers as possible to have the opportunity of a holiday of a lifetime. The cost of these camps include transport from Durban and Pietermaritzburg, accommodation, food and activities for four nights and five days in a safe and structured environment where young South African's are our mission.
