Where It All Began
The Kream story began in Pretoria, by Tufan Yerebakan, the founder and CEO. Tufan had a vision of being the best restaurant in Pretoria. Tufan started his vision as an operations manager at a well know franchise restaurant. And so… from an operations manager, Kream Restaurant was born.
Armed with his one of a kind vision, Tufan opened the first restaurant in Brooklyn, Pretoria in 2007. With a powerful combination of great tasting food, excellent service and a whole lot of pride, Kream soon became a huge success and in 2016, the Mall of Africa restaurant opened its doors. By 2021, another restaurant opened in Montecasino.

What's On The Menu
Our Kream menu features a range of different offerings for all customer’s preferences. From oysters and gourmet sushi to start off with to a wide selection to choose from, which includes wagyu cuts, seafood, burgers, pasta and poultry and ending with a selection of Kream desserts to choose from.
But what we got to experience was their Date Night Offering. This three-course fine dining experience is an absolute must-try, at just R750 per couple. Available on Monday and Tuesday evenings, along with a complimentary bottle of Durbanville Hills Sparkling, and your choice of dishes from their set menu, it's a romantic experience for you and your partner!
Our Kream Experience
Upon walking into the restaurant, you're greeted by incredibly friendly staff and welcomed by stunning and elegant decor, along with artworks and features that catch your eye. Once we were led and seated at our table, we couldn't help but take everything in. Beautiful, pristine, elegant.
Before we place our order from their Date Night set menu, we were offered a trio of flavoured butters along with a slice of bread of our choice to whet our appetites. Along with this, came our complimentary bottle of bubbly, which just tied everything together.
For starts, we opted for the Dynamite Chicken – chicken cubes, spicy sweet and sour sauce, crispy fried onions, sesame seeds, spring onions & cucumber spaghetti – and the Mushroom Tartlet – a medley of mushrooms in a puff pastry shell, basil pesto, onion puree, crispy onions and rocket. Both were absolutely divine.
Next up, the mains. Here, we ordered the Arrabbiata – Napoletana sauce with chili and garlic, served with penne pasta – and the Rump Pepper Parmesan – served with fries, vegetables, and pepper parmesan sauce. Filling, delicious and moreish, these dishes were presented beautifully and definitely had our palates dancing.
And finally, onto dessert. We were both tempted and delighted with the Malva Pudding, served with vanilla ice-cream, vanilla crème Anglaise and caramel sauce. Definitely the perfect way to end our evening on a sweet note.
