What Can I Expect From The Totalsports Women’s Race 2024?

As you lace up your running shoes and hit the pavement, you will embark on a journey that transcends mere competition, celebrating the strength, resilience, and camaraderie that define the essence of womanhood.

The month of August will see close to 27 000 runners and walkers join forces in solidarity to celebrate National Women’s Month at the iconic Totalsports Women’s Race! Celebrating all women – mothers, daughters, sisters and aunts, the Totalsports Women’s Race launched in the Western Cape in 2001. In 2007 the event expanded to Johannesburg, before heading to Durban in 2011 making it SA’s largest Nationwide Women’s Day Celebration.

Start and finish venue is Mark’s Park, Emmarentia.
Distance: 5KM and 10KM.

Ticket Costs:

5km: R110
10km: R145 (for licensed runners who belong to a running club and have a valid ASA Licence number) or R205 (entry includes a Johannesburg temp licence)

16 August 10:00 – 17:00
There will be NO Race Pack Collection on the day of the event.
