When golf meets entertainment and inclusivity, you get the Waterfall City Tournament of Champions. A staple on the Sunshine Tour calendar and one of Joburg’s must-attend events, it’s more than a game—it’s a celebration of excellence, unity, and good old-fashioned fun under the South African sun.
As part of the Sunshine Tour’s 2025/2026 season, this unique event draws together top-tier professionals from the Sunshine Tour and Sunshine Ladies Tour, along with elite amateurs and the inspirational athletes of the South African Disabled Golf Association (SADGA)—all in a single, thrilling competition.
The stage for this championship clash is none other than Royal Johannesburg’s East Course, a course steeped in history and challenge. With its sweeping fairways and precise greens, the East Course has long been considered one of the jewels of African golf.
At the heart of this tournament is a format that champions innovation as much as it does diversity. Players will face off over 72 holes of stroke play, while SADGA golfers compete over 36 holes of medal play.
But this event isn’t just for the golf purists. The Spectator Village transforms the traditional tournament experience into an all-day lifestyle outing.
