The Melrose Arch Gallery’s Wine Wednesdays
Are you an art and wine enthusiast? Then don't miss out on the Melrose Arch Gallery's Wine Wednesdays, every Wednesday evening during the month of March. What To Expect at...
On Saturday, 28 May and Sunday, 29 May the doors to Joburg’s studios spaces throughout the inner city will be open to visitors. The event will see over 100 artists showcasing their work at different art buildings that will be open on different dates.
This exciting collaboration and initiative brings you the best that the City has to offer so make note in your diary! The event is the brainchild of the META foundation. The initiative will thus highlight seven art buildings across the CBD. The idea is for locals to interact with the artists. Attendees can also enjoy a programme filled with performances, walkabouts and admiring the exhibitions. The event is made accessible and easy to navigate because of the shuttle service that will connect the various spaces.
The various studios are linked with the use of a free shuttle service. This will enable attendees a safe option to explore the city. There will be three shuttles available every 15 minutes to loop between the buildings. Victoria Yards is just one of the venues for the weekend. Other sites include; Ellis House, August House, Transwerke Studios and Living Artists Emporium to name but a few.
