On the Saturday 7th of October, Emperors Palace presents the enchanting Magic of Oktoberfest—an annual festival that pays tribute to Bavarian culture, complete with beer, food, and a South African twist!
Attendees can revel in a variety of beers from local breweries, along with beloved local spirits. Ranging from craft gin, brandy, and rum to award-winning MCC for wine enthusiasts. The event caters to all tastes with an array of cocktails and special mixes.
Delight in Bavarian cuisine, featuring treats like Pretzels, Sausages, and Roosterkoek, or indulge in festival favorites like pizza, burgers, and boerie rolls. Seafood, Pasta, Tacos, Biltong, Nuts, an assortment of Desserts, and iconic vendors like Sausage Saloon and Chip & Dip will also be available.
For sports fans, the World Cup Rugby games will be screened inside the Red Roman Shed, accompanied by food and drinks.
The festival will resonate with traditional OktoberFest vibes as the Oompah Kings perform lively German tunes. Adding to the festivities, the Clint and Co Show, fresh from their Creedence Clearwater Revival Tribute tour, will serenade with CCR classics and contemporary feel-good music.
Families are welcome, with a designated safe area in the Red Roman Shed for kids to enjoy. Seating will be provided, and parents will be responsible for their children at all times.
Important details: Gates open at 11h00. No outside food, drinks, or cooler boxes allowed. Ample seating provided, but you’re welcome to bring camping chairs and picnic blankets. Both cash and cards accepted. Please drink responsibly and plan for transportation. While this is an alcohol-focused festival, kids are welcome, and safe parking is available at the Metcourt Hotel’s underground parking area.
