Join the Joburg Zoo on Sunday, 19 March 2023, as they celebrate their 119 birthday in spectacular style.
What Can I Expect From Joburg Zoo’s 119th Birthday Celebration?
Attendees can look forward to kids entertainment, music, a picnic, heritage tours and lots more planned! Not to mention a stroll around the establishment that is home to over 320 species of animals! The entrance fee is R55 for adults and R19 for kids under 12 and pensioners. If you’re born in March, you’re in luck! March babies get free entry to the zoo on the day of the celebration, please bring a form of identification along.
If you can’t make it to the zoo on their actual birthday, do not fret. To celebrate with residents and animal lovers, the Parkview based Zoo is offering pupils and teachers entry at a special discounted offer for the whole of March. Read more about the popular tourist attraction here.
