What Can I Expect From Hiking Sowto?

Since 2015, HIKING SOWETO has been providing unique hiking trails/routes through various locations of Msotra, uncovering the hidden gems beyond Soweto’s celebrated spaces and moments. This adventure is designed for hikers or walkers of different fitness levels, ensuring everyone can partake in the journey.

What to Expect: Each 10km “kasi” hike promises an authentic exploration of Soweto through its unique Spaces, Sounds, and Moments. iSTIMELA saseZOLA! edition offers a dose of unforgettable experiences waiting for your interaction with Soweto.

What to Bring: Please bring along weather-appropriate and comfortable activewear. Hiking shoes/sports shoes for optimal comfort and foot cushioning (flat casual shoes like canvas are not recommended) and a backpack to carry hiking essentials (water, snacks, sunscreen, hat/cap, sunglasses, etc.)
