What Can I Expect From The Chinese New Year Cultural Festival?
Immerse yourself in a vibrant fusion of Buddhist rituals and rich cultural festivities—a perfect way to welcome the New Year with positivity and inspiration! This festive celebration marks the commencement of the Year of the Snake, promising an exciting and vibrant experience for all. Join them for a memorable celebration filled with cultural richness and joyful festivities.
The event schedule is as follows:
- 09:30 am: Chinese New Year Light Offering Dharma Function – Illuminate your path to wisdom and prosperity by lighting a lamp in our Main Shrine.
- 10:00 am – 15:00 pm: Chinese New Year Cultural Festival
- 10:00 am: Opening Ceremony – Kick off the festivities with a grand ceremony in the Main Shrine, setting the tone for an unforgettable day.
- 11:00 am – 14:30 pm: Multicultural Performances – Be captivated by vibrant performances celebrating cultural diversity in the Guest House Courtyard.
All-Day Activities:
- Cultural Stalls & Culinary Treats: Discover traditional crafts, delicious food, and engaging activities.
- Meditation & Exhibits: Step into tranquility at the “365 Days for Travelers” meditation exhibition inside the Guest House Museum.
- Wishing Tree: Share your hopes and dreams by tying colorful ribbons to the Wishing Tree outside the Main Shrine.
