The Hartbeespoort Aerial Cableway is a Swiss engineered and installed cableway in the heart of Harties. This cableway is just the place if you want to experience some of the best views of the beautiful Magaliesberg Mountains, Hartbeespoort Dam and surrounding areas. The destination also offers world-class recreational activities to ensure you enjoy an unforgettable experience. You can choose to ride the cableway in either an open-air two-seater or a fully-enclosed four-seater cable car. It’s a must-experience for all.

No matter what the weather or level of load shedding it may be, they’re prepared and ready to welcome you to their facility. This is the perfect idea for a fun-filled day out with family and friends.

How Much Is The Cableway?

Costs at the Hartbeesport Aerial Cableway are as follows:

Cable car prices:

  • Adults – R280 per person
  • Pensioners – R170 per person (subject to presentation of a valid ID)
  • Children – R185 per child (aged between 4 and 14 years)
  • Birthday – FREE (subject to presentation of a valid ID)

Two-seater prices:

  • Over 16 – R330 per person | *Height, weight, and age restrictions apply.
  • Under 16 – R235 per person | *Height, weight and age restrictions apply.

The Kids Zone

Looking to keep the little ones entertained while you relax and taking in the stunning views? Then be sure to let them have a good time at The Kids Zone. Here, you’ll find jungle gyms, boost ‘n bounce, and an ice cream parlour, perfect for a sweet treat. There’s also assistants on-hand to ensure the safety of your children.

Relax Spa

Craving a pamper and some relaxation? Then visit the Relax Spa at the Harties Cableway. Boost your your well-being with their selection of indulgent spa treatments. Boost ‘n Bounce

Looking to bounce a little bit higher atop the mountain? Boost ‘n Bounce is a must! This is loads of fun for the kids, and adults, too! The Harties Cableway assistants are well-trained and their equipment is maintained to the highest standards of safety ensuring nothing but fun and thrills.

Costs are as follows:

  • R100 for one session per person under the age of 16 years.
  • R150 for one session per persons over 16 years of age.

Once you get to the top of the cableway, you can enjoy the stunning views while tucking into a tasty lunch or sipping on something refreshing. There’s sure to be something to delight your taste buds.

Pizza Shack

First stop is the Pizza Shack. Here, you can get your hands on a tasty rustic artisanal wood-fired pizza. There’s a wide selection of toppings for you to choose from. Our favourite is the Bacon, Feta and Avocado Pizza. And if you’re looking for a refreshing drink, they offer beer on tap, cocktails and mocktails, ciders, your usual sodas, ice tea, and more. Once you’ve made your order, make your way over to one of the shaded tables or beanbags, and take in the stunning view.

360 Degrees

Located just underneath the cable cars entry at the top of the mountain, you’ll find 360 Degrees. This is a self-service restaurant, offering a variety of meals, snacks, and drinks, and of course, their famous breakfasts. Simply head to the counter, take a look at the menu, place your order, and receive a vibrating device. This device will let you know when your meals are ready to be picked up from their kitchen. Grab your meals, and a seat, and enjoy! Here, you’ll also see incredible views of the mountain face.

The Lookout Deck

Enjoy the stunning Harties views while sipping on a refreshing G&T or ice-cold draught at The Lookout Deck. This is the perfect perch, 354 metres above the foot of the mountain. Grab a drink, relax, and enjoy the music played from the bar, the breeze in your hair, and the amazing views atop the mountain.
