For a different movie viewing experience that doesn’t involve getting out of your car and sitting in a crowded, noisy cinema, why not get your tickets and enjoy a drive-in movie with Picnics In The Park

What Was It?

Rally up family and friends and head to Picnic In The Park’s latest themed picnic – a night at the Drive-In! For two nights, enjoy movies like you did in the good ol’ days, together as a family in the comfort of your own car. Make sure you pack some blankets, carry some cash to buy delicious snacks and drinks on site, and enjoy a night at the movies.

How Much Was It?

Tickets cost R250 per car of four, and R100 for additional single tickets. Tickets can be bought at Quickets. Spacing is limited so be sure to get your tickets ASAP! Price includes parking and access to all films showing on the evening.

  1. Riverside family farm R250 now really then you still have to buy snacks, we as parents would really like our children to experience a drive in theatre but this price is ridiculous and very depressing. We would like to support but its very pricey.

    1. Hi Anto, R250 is for a vehicle of four people and for two films, that is quite a bit less than what you would spend at a cinema 🙂

    2. True Anto. And for old, tired movies. Total rip-off. Which youngsters are going to sit through that?

  2. Agree with Anto,it is rather pricey and DEPRESSING. My kids have never been to a drive in and would love to take them but this is not affordable.
    We would love to support these ventures,but way too expensive!
