We’ve long been on the hunt for a breakfast that’s light on the stomach but has plenty of protein and good stuff to get us to lunch, and what we’ve discovered is this peanut butter cup smoothie bowl! It’s a great treat that we feel good about starting the day with. Hope you enjoy the recipe!
Ingredients To Blend
- 2 tbsp organic peanut butter
- 1 medium frozen banana
- 1/3 cup almond milk
- 1/2 cup vanilla Greek yoghurt
- 1/2 tsp cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup crushed ice
Ingredients For Topping
- Sliced fresh banana
- Chia seeds
- Raw almonds
- Dark chocolate chips
- Cacao nibs
- Coconut chips
Method
- Place all the blending ingredients in your blender and blend on high-speed until completely smooth.
- Decant the smoothie mixture into a bowl and top with toppings off your choice.
- Serve with a spoon and enjoy right away!
