For those unfamiliar with the Beijing Opera legend, Yang Zhao is the mastermind behind the magic. Her dumpling haven in Cape Town, De Waterkant, was a beloved institution for years. Since relocating to Johannesburg, she has delighted fans with a series of pop-up events, leaving everyone eager for a permanent home.
Well, the wait is over! Yang Zhao and her team have found the perfect spot at 44 Stanley. She brings her signature dim sum, bao, and a world of Pan-Asian flavours to the heart of Johannesburg.
Opening Hours and Location
Joburgers are invited to experience the magic of Beijing Opera at 44 Stanley. Their doors are open from Monday to Thursday, 11:00 to 16:00, and Friday to Saturday, 11:00 to 21:00. On Sundays, they close earlier and welcome guests from 10:00 to 16:00.
