What Is It?
Zethembiso Mdletshe, a.k.a Zethe, is making a name for herself as a Johannesburg based musician. After completing a degree in music, majoring in Jazz, from the University of KwaZulu Natal in 2016, she moved up to Jozi to pursue her dreams.
Zethe will now perform a one-night-only concert at POPArt theatre in honour of Women’s Month. The Afro jazz singer dedicates the evening to women, performing most of the tunes from her debut EP “Qhawekazi”. This EP is mostly centered on women and female empowerment.
They say dynamite comes in small packages - this is never more evident than when this sensational afro/soul/jazz and house singer takes to the stage. Her unique and powerful voice stands out and lingers long after she has left the spotlight. Zethe will be sharing the stage with a three piece band, so you can expect a night of great music and an experience not to be forgotten. Don’t miss it!
