Started in the Parkhurst area in 1997, Dish Studio now has a new home in Robindale, Randburg. This is the home of mosaics, ceramic inserts and mixed media art. Dish Studio offers one-on-one and group classes. On Saturdays, their classes are open to everyone! Here are some classes they offer:

• Introduction to Mosaic for R300 per personm
• Kid's Mosaic Parties, suitable for age 5 and up.
• Insert making for R450 per person (2 days)
• Saturday classes for a duration of 2 hours, R250 per person and open by booking.

Ush Creations

Ush Creations is a home-based brand that specialises in Indo-western designs varying from clothing to home decor and accessories. Usma, the teacher, is a Mauritian Textile Artist with over 20 years of experience. Their classes include mosaic and stained glass. This place is kids friendly and offers Kiddies Mosaic Workshops and the Tie & Dye Workshops.  Bring your little ones over the weekends and school holidays and watch them get creative! The Pottery Junxion

The Pottery Junxion in Edenvale is a specialist store in all things ceramic. They have a huge variety of ceramics, paints and mosaics and they offer a variety of workshops for both young and old, professional or amateur. They also host some speciality courses. Some of the workshops they offer are ceramic painting, mosaics, Powertex and clock making. They also host birthday parties, so you can make a day of art and craft fun with your friends and family.
