What Is It?
SIX Cocktail Bar in Melville host regular jazz and jam session nights for Joburg music lovers. The aim of these sessions is to give musicians in the city a space to let loose, without stress or fuss. Jazz and acoustic fans are also treated to some of the best live performances in the city for free!
The Wednesday night jazz and jam sessions at SIX are now back, with a range of exciting headline acts and guest performers billed to grace the stage. On Wednesday, 20 March the session will be led by trumpeter Marcus Wyatt, featuring Dave Cousins on piano, Viwe Mkizwana on bass and Sphelelo Mazibuko on drums.
