A Little Bit About The FunEatery

Whether you're looking for a delicious bite to eat for lunch or simply just want to escape to a private little hide away to get some admin done, The FunEatery is a fun place to go! They offer their guests the perfect spot to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet while savouring one of their delicious bubble waffles, smoothie bowls, or milkshakes.

From the moment you step into their café, you'll feel the sense of happiness and fun all around you. Grab a seat at one of their booths, either up above everyone on an elevated table overlooking the barista bar and preparation counter, or safe on the restaurant floor close to all the treats, locally made items and more. There's also outdoor seating right outside the café, if you're in the mood to do some people watching or enjoy the fresh air. The FunEatery wants you to enjoy your food, and have a fun-filled and memorable experience while you're at it!

What's On The Menu?

When we took a look at the menus, we had no idea what to expect. But one thing is clear – everything is fun, unique, and sounds absolutely delicious. We had a difficult time picking just one dish off the menu, everything caught our eye and we felt spoilt for choice.

The FunEatery's menu offers a lovely selection of delights. The menu boasts a variety of bubble waffles – both sweet and savoury – bubble teas if you're looking for something refreshing; smoothie bowls that look incredible; super bagels that are stacked with fresh and delicious fillings; flavourful milkshakes in an array of unique flavours; and of course, a selection of coffees, teas, homemade lemonade and iced tea, frozen lava lattes, fresh juices, and freezos.

While reading through the menu and having a difficult time deciding on what we wanted to indulge in (everything just sounded absolutely divine!), we ordered two of their milkshakes in the meantime – the Blueberry milkshake and the Peanut Butter milkshake. These were by far the most delicious milkshakes we have ever tasted! Thick, creamy, full of flavour, and most definitely moreish! The perfect treat for a hot summer's day.

Now we had to decide on a meal to complement the shakes. We loved the sounds of the bubble waffles, so we ordered one savoury and one sweet to get the best of both worlds. First up was The Hot Chic – a savoury cheese bubble waffle cone filled with onion chutney, chicken strips, their melted signature cheese mix, a sweet mayo drizzle and fresh coriander. This was absolutely divine and the highlight to our visit. Then to end the meal off on a sweet note, we tucked into the chocolaty bubble waffle treat, The Willy Wonka – a sweet bubble waffle cone filled with homemade chocolate sauce, clotted cream, a chocolate muesli crunch, caramel drizzle, chocolate ice cream, coconut milk and edible décor. This is most definitely a chocoholics dream!

And after seeing the smoothie bowls that they were preparing, we decide that those will be the next on our list when we visit this fun-filled and delightful spot again in the future. Not only are they healthy, bright and colourful, but the edible décor and the names that come along with them are amazing! Who wouldn't like to tuck into a healthy and hearty smoothie bowl called Mermaid Dreams or The Mother of Dragons!

A Few Tips & Pointers

Here are a few tips and pointers that we'd like to share after our visit to The FunEatery.
