Theatre in the Park offers a one-of-a-kind entertainment experience. We were delighted to discover that after a two year hiatus, they would be returning this June. Situated at Delta Park in Randburg, this 200 seater theatre has hosted an array of top South African musicians, including Elvis Blue, Koos Kombuis and The Parlotones. The theatre reopened its doors officially on the 11th of June with a performance from Bottomless Coffee Band. The folk-rock duo were the perfect artists to welcome Theatre in the Park back into action. If you missed this performance, fear not. Theatre in the Park is back with a bang! Join them for a series of live performances this June and July. Kicking off the celebrations is the iconic Jak de Priester. This esteemed musician will not only be celebrating the return of Theatre in the Park, but his 20 year career as well. His 10 original full-length albums have made him a household name, and his frequent appearances on festival stages have made him one of the most cherished live performers in the country. Beat the winter blues by heading out to Theatre in the Park this July. Renowned blues guitarist and vocalist Dan Patlansky will take to the stage on Saturday, 3 July and Sunday, 4 July 2022 to serenade you with a selection of songs from past and present.
