The Cirk acrobatic artists (daily at 12:00 and 16:00 from 09 – 24 December 2021) and
ballet dancers (daily at 14:00 and 18:00 from 16 – 24 December 2021) are set to enthrall shoppers or those who’d like to pause and enjoy the wonder of these complimentary performances.
Santa Claus Is Coming To The City
Santa Claus himself will usher in the festive season with his much-anticipated arrival! From 09 December, children will not only get to meet the legendary man in person, but also to treasure these special moments forever with an array of
photographic packages available. He can be found in Toyland daily from 09:00 – 18:00, except on 24 December from 09:00 – 14:00, when he needs to leave early to start delivering gifts.
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
The Disney Christmas Tree will give shoppers an opportunity to pay it forward by supporting the
Smile Foundation, a non-profit organisation that works to improve the quality of life of children with facial conditions. At 10 metres high and adorned with over 400 Disney plush toys, the tree will serve as an invitation to pledge R50 towards this wonderful cause. After the festive season, all of the plush toys and the pledges will be donated to children that have undergone corrective facial reconstructive surgery and treatments, because every child deserves to smile.
Extended Shopping Hours
Knowing that selecting the perfect gifts takes time, Sandton City has extended their trading hours. Visitors will be able to shop from its over 300 prestigious stores from 09:00 – 20:00 from 09 – 15 December 2021; from 09:00 – 21:00 from 16 – 23 December 2021, and from 09:00 – 18:00 on 24 December 2021. Also, the centre has recently launched an online gift card service which provides a new gifting solution, perfect for gift-givers wanting to give the gift of choice to their loved ones. Gift Wrapping Made Easy!
Two convenient gift-wrapping stations will ensure that nobody gets a sneak peek at what’s inside the shopping parcels before Christmas. These stations allows shoppers to have their purchases beautifully wrapped in a bespoke wrapping paper and to donate to the
Sandton Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) in lieu of this service. You can find these gift wrapping stations outside Queenspark and Jet.
