The TRACE Africa Takeover Party brings a brand-new tone of voice and direction to be '
the pulse of Mzansi streets'. And a lot more local music! And along with the musical celebration of the streets of Mzansi and the launch of their new brand repositioning, TRACE Africa will be hosting their first music takeover for 2021.
The TRACE Africa Takeover Party will be held at the trendy Altitude Beach in Fourways on Saturday, 22 May 2021, and will feature some of South Africa’s finest headliners, including:

- Black Motion
- Lemon and Herb
- DBN Gogo
- Lerato Kganyago
- DJ Speedsta
- Prince Kaybee
- DJ Nel
- MDOOVAR
- DJ Fae Fae
- 2PM DJS

TRACE Africa has been established as the destination for African music with a huge support of Southern African music over the past few years. With the brand’s ongoing commitment of empowerment, we are excited about this new direction to inject more South African music onto the channel" shared Trace’s Managing Director – Southern Africa & Regional Director Anglophone Africa Valentine Gaudin-Muteba.

TRACE Africa will showcase up and coming as well as established Mzansi artists, creatives, movers and shakers. The channel will also play exclusively selected music from the rest of the continent, to celebrate the African flair that is mirrored in Mzansi."
