Kwaito music fans this one is just for you. Jairus Ditshotlo Nkwe, a.k.a Jakarumba, is headed to Joburg Theatre for one night only this December. As a member of one of South Africa's most famous kwaito bands, Trompie, he has loads of stories to tell. The Taming of Jakarumba – Life of a Pantsula, is a musical production that narrates the life, challenges and triumphs of this colourful musician. Jakarumba will touch on the impact that Kwaito and Pantsula have had on his life. He will also speak candidly about his playboy past, and the trials and tribulations he has faced along the course of his career. Guest artists and collaborators will join him on stage to bring you their biggest hits. Get your tickets ASAP to avoid missing The Taming of Jakarumba at Joburg Theatre!
