What Is It?
Christmas is finally here! Come and celebrate the joys of the season at the Linden Market Christmas Edition out in Emmarentia. As always, there will be a fantastic selection of artisan food goodies to tuck into, as well as craft stalls, live entertainment and family fun. Plus, the market is dog friendly (provided your pooches are well trained and kept on a leash). Enjoy a day of shopping, eating and listening to Christmas carols in the Botanical Gardens, presented by Joburg's top makers, designers and artisans. The super popular bubbly garden will also be in full swing, so you can sit back, relax and soak up the sunshine.
The old TLM favourite Date-a-Dog initiative, brought to you by CLAW and Benji and Moon, will also be there. Take one of their worthy rescues on a stroll around the market. All stalls will be participating in a yellow dot sale - any item marked with a yellow dot is discounted at up to 20% off!
In the spirit of the festivities, TLM will also be hosting a cookie making workshop. Spend some quality time with the kids and make your own creative Christmas cookies to enjoy.
In addition, The TLM lineup promises to kick the holiday season off with a bang. You can look forward to the likes of Rubber Duc, Georgetown band, Jack and June and Brother Brother, heading in all the way from Cape Town. The little ones will be entertained by Father Christmas on stilts, a jumping castle, slime-making, canvas painting and face painting.
