Get Out And Explore The Linden Market In 2020

Joburg Admin / January 1, 2016

What Is It? What better way to do a little shopping, strolling and exploring than at a stunning outdoor market? The Linden Market #marketinthepark is a curated lifestyle market like no other, offering visitors a fantastic selection of South Africa’s top makers, designers and artisans. You can enjoy a day of shopping, eating and listening to live music in the Botanical Gardens, Emmarentia. This makes for the perfect outing for friends and family, as there is something for everyone to enjoy. The Linden Market The day kicks off with Yoga in the Park at 09:00. Breathe in the fresh air as you relax, and leave the stress of the week behind in a much-loved yoga session before the excitement of the market starts. For your shopping pleasure, they'll have 160 of the most creative and talented local vendors offering something for everyone, from handmade kid's toys and jewellery, to plants and proudly South African decor. The incredible products from the market are now also available at the market's online shop on their website. The Linden Market The Linden Market proudly presents local bands to keep you entertained throughout the day. At this edition, you can kick back to the sounds of 4AM, Steve Umculo and new comer, Kiash Arjun. With plenty to do for the kids, you can enjoy the shopping and music while they play their hearts out on the jumping castle or get their faces painted. The older kids can bring back the 60s and get creative with tie dye or design and paint their own ceramics with Pick and Paint Ceramics. The Linden Market is also proud to support local charities. This edition is no different. Old favourite, Date-a-Dog, will be there with their furry bundles of love, which you can take for a walk around the park and maybe adopt, should it be love at first sight. Remember that you can also bring your own puppy as TLM is the dog-friendliest market around. The Linden Market When Is It?
