What Is It? The "bare necessities of life" are headed straight to you this March as the Peoples Theatre brings Disney's The Jungle Book to life! Come and see all your favourite characters live on stage in celebration of the Peoples Theatre's 20th anniversary at Joburg Theatre. It's going to be a rumble in the jungle affair. Watch as the brave Mowgli teams up with the tenacious Bagheera (played by Thokozani Jiyani) and the rambunctious Baloo (played by Luciano Zuppa) to defeat the conniving Shere Khan. This dashing cast will perform all your most loved hits from the original 1967 Disney film, including The Bare Necessities, I Wanna Be Like You and many more. The Jungle Book is the perfect family-fun outing for the school holidays, so get booking those tickets as soon as possible! When Is It? Preview: Monday, 02 March 2020.
